Formed by 12 alumni from the first two batches of graduates, the Alumni Association of New Asia College was established on 7 February 1954. In 1961, the Association became an official organization registered under the Government of Hong Kong. The Association was renamed as “The Alumni Association of New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong” in 1965, and “The Alumni Association of New Asia College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Limited” in 1983. Since its establishment in the 1950s, the missions of the Association remain unchanged. They include: promoting “New Asia Spirit”; maintaining a closer relationship among alumni; facilitating the development of the College; enriching students’ learning experience; and the publication of ‘New Asia Alumni’ etc.

The clubhouse of the Alumni Association has been open since 28 August 2010. Being the first CUHK Alumni Association clubhouse located in the city centre, it facilitates the exchange among alumni and serves as a venue to variety of talks, courses and activities.
