The 88th Congregation for the Conferment of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held from 19 November and was successfully concluded today (21 November). In view of the fact that Hong Kong and other parts of the world are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the University held the graduation ceremonies via live broadcast on the originally scheduled date and time for the graduates and their families and friends, in order to protect everyone’s health and safety.

This year’s master’s and bachelor’s graduation ceremonies were divided into 17 sessions, hosted by various Colleges and Faculties. The nine Colleges of CUHK, including Chung Chi College, New Asia College, United College, Shaw College, Morningside College, S.H. Ho College, C.W. Chu College, Wu Yee Sun College and Lee Woo Sing College, conferred the Bachelor’s Degrees on 19 November, while the eight Faculties, including the Faculties of Arts, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science and Social Science, held the Master’s Degree Graduation Ceremonies on 20 and 21 November.

As the pandemic may last for some time, the University continues to implement strict infection control measures to ensure the health of the University community. All staff and students must wear masks on campus, maintain social distancing from others, monitor their body temperature and wash their hands frequently.
