Crocher Summer Course 2015
Cell & Developmental Biology Research

Three laboratory sessions on advanced Cell Biology research technologies were arranged in the afternoons of June 15 – 17, the whole day of August 18, and the morning of June 19 in CMB Lab, AoE Lab and CCDB Lab, CUHK.

The workshops were organized to demonstrate the latest technologies for research applications, such as patch clamp ion channel analysis, spinning disk confocal imaging, data analysis using Imaris software, high-pressure freezing/ freeze substitution TEM analysis, etc.

Each laboratory session comprised introduction talk, demonstration and practical session. Participants not only gained hands-on experience with the sophisticated technologies, but also inspirations in their expeditions in the world of Cell & Developmental Biology research through discussions.

Participants were encouraged to use their own research samples for analysis.
