Objective:
To bring together scientists from various fields to review recent advances in optical spectroscopy and its applications to solve physical and biological problems of contemporary interest; and to exchange ideas, share experience and knowledge on the future developments of optical spectroscopy.

Program:
The symposium will consist of about two and half days of invited presentations, a poster session, and a half day excursion.

Partial financial support may be available upon request. The financial support application should be submitted to Miss Ho by email (pyho@phy.cuhk.edu.hk) before April 15, 2007. In the application, please give a resume with a brief description of published work. Preference of consideration will be given to junior applicants. Decisions will be made on a case by case basis.

Contributed Poster Submission: All abstracts must be submitted before April 15, 2007.
