Seminars:
Research seminars by graduate students of Biochemistry programme are normally held every saturday from 9:30 am
till 12:30pm (usually 3 presentations) at LT1 MMW Bldg during the term.

Research seminars by graduate students of the Molecular Biotechnology Programme are usually one-day events,
held twice a year (usually end of December, and end of April) at the Science Centre.

Journal club style courses related to genomics, proteomics & bioinformatics (first term) and immunology and
cancer (2nd term) are normally held every Friday 10:30am till 1:30pm (3-4 papers) at MMW Bldg Rm 622
during the term (for students who wish to audit). Seminar notices of invited speakers are posted outside
the General office of the Biochemistry Programme  at the following location:

PSCA - Protein Sequence Comparative Analysis - http://www1.jcsg.org/psat/help/document.html (PSCA is an integated web tool for comparative analysis of protein sequence. It analyzes protein sequence in multiple layers as domains and families, secondary structure feature, similarity of PDB protein structures, protein structure prediction and protein homologue.
