This session has been organized as a brief introduction to academic
life at CUHK. Much more detailed orientations occur in August before
each new academic year. However, staff who arrived in August, or after
the 2006-2007 year began, may find this session helpful.
It is designed to provide staff who are relatively new to CUHK with
some information about systems, processes, and contact people. The
University's eLearning platforms and support services will be a key
feature of the session.
Topics
include:
- The nature of CLEAR
- An introduction to a number of key policies at CUHK
- Useful contact people on campus
- The nature of ITSC, and CUHK's eLearning platforms
- The work of the eLearning Service
