Translation Studies

Translation Studies has been gradually gaining importance as an academic discipline in recent years. While it had remained Eurocentric for many years, many scholars agree that the rich history of translation activities in Asia deserves as much discourse. For this reason, RCT is increasingly focusing its research on translation studies, particularly but not exclusively on the historical and cultural contexts and with topics pertaining to Hong Kong, China, and the rest of Asia.
