College Financial and Counselling Support

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic poses an economic challenge to Hong Kong far greater than that of the SARS outbreak. To address this, the College have expanded its financial support programme to assist students in urgent need due to circumstances caused by the pandemic, with an increase of emergency financial aid. Students encountering urgent financial difficulties can approach our College Development Officer, Ms. Edith Tsang, for emergency assistance throughout the year (Tel: 3943-7944; Email: edithtsang@cuhk.edu.hk).

We also recognize that pandemic-related changes to the economy and learning modes may exert undue stress on students, whose mental wellbeing is of the utmost importance to us. We accordingly encourage students facing emotional distress to engage the College for counselling support by contacting our Assistant College Development Officer, Ms. Xenia Wan (Tel: 5995-5065; Email: xenia@cuhk.edu.hk).
