香港中文大學員工總會與大埔文化歷史工作室合辦
大埔不是熱門的旅遊點，但很多人視大埔為香港境內生活環境最好的社區。這裏有產品種類繁多的有機農作物市場、完善的社區單車徑系統、生態價值極高的鄉郊地帶、新舊相融的城市規劃和以街道為核心的公共生活網絡。大埔在香港歷史上亦佔重要位置，它不單有悠久的鄉村歷史，亦曾是英國殖民者佔領新界的基地，至今我們仍然可從城市佈局中看出當年緊張的對峙氣氛。這個短短三小時的導賞團，將會從上述兩條線索向大家介紹大埔，我們會講大埔的猛獸、大埔的樹、大埔的殖民市鎮佈局、大埔的遷村個案、大埔新舊墟的角力等等。
大埔文化歷史工作室背景介紹：
工作室成員有些是「原居民」，有些是新租客，但都不約而同地喜歡大埔，卻又不能確切說清楚這地方好在哪裏、這些「好」是怎樣發生的、這些「好」又如何延續並發展下去。於是他們利用工餘時間，開始考察每日經過的河流、單車道、社區、街道、店舖，如是者過了幾個月。如今更進一步，成立大埔文化歷史工作室，實行一邊考察、一邊與大埔街坊和其他市民分享。其中一項工作就是策劃不同主題的大埔區文化歷史導賞團，把他們認識的方方面面說個痛快。
導賞團詳情：

集合時間：下午2時正﹝行程約3小時，參加者需要全程步行。行程結束後為半小時分享討論環節﹞
集合地點：大埔廣福?油站旁巴士站
語言：廣東話
導遊：朱凱迪﹝獨立媒體編輯，關注保育人士，近月積極搜集大埔區的文化歷史材料，大埔文化歷史工作室成員﹞
費用：會員及家屬50元，非會員60元﹝包導賞及講義費，報名於交費後作實﹞

Tai Po is not a popular tourist destination, but for many people, it is the best district for living in Hong Kong. It is acclaimed for its rich history and social life, comprehensive bicycle lane system, vibrant organic product market and many ecologically important rural areas. In this short cultural tour, we will look at important historic sites and spatial features of Tai Po market. All are welcomed.
