On March 2, 2019, a significant day, 175 students, teachers and parents witnessed the children and teenagers become Health Captains. They first listened to Dr. Mary Ho, Associate Consultant, Prince of Wales Hospital, and Dr. Dana Lo, Senior Medical Officer, University Health Service, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to learn about eye health in adolescents, how to face bullying in school and the importance of building a healthy school. Then, students are determined to become Health Captains, support health activities organised by schools and communities, encourage peers to be more aware of healthy school issues, and put healthy living into real practice so as to set a role model for others. The following is a special issue of the ceremony which includes the sharing of students being nominated as Health Captains, as well as the highlights of the event day. Teachers and students who attended the forum may download them for record. |
