Prof. Steven W. Edwards, Head of The Institute of Learning and Teaching, University of Liverpool, United Kingdom, visited the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBS) on 4 December 2015.
The guest was warmly welcomed by Prof. Chan Wai-yee, Director of SBS, Prof. Christopher H.K. Cheng, Associate Director (Undergraduate Education), Prof. Woody W.Y. Chan, Associate Director (Graduate Education), Prof. Fung Kwok-pui, Associate Director (Administration) and Programme Director of BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme, and Dr. Ann S.N. Lau, Assistant Director, Undergraduate Education (BSc in Biomedical Sciences Programme).
In the meeting, Prof. Edwards was briefed on the latest development of our School and the progress of our new undergraduate programme – Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences. The possibility of student exchange and academic collaborations between the two institutions was also discussed.
