He received the Excellent Teacher Award teaching anatomy at University of Manchester, and lectured at HKU. He is presently a lecturer at the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong teaching human anatomy. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators UK (FAcadMed) as well as the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He is course co-coordinator for Medical Year 3 human anatomy and is a pre-clinical academic advisor.

His research interests are gamification, e-learning and particularly the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education. He graduated from the Oxford AI programme, the University of Oxford in 2020 and has taught modules on AI in Healthcare, introduction to Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Deep Learning as part of medical school curricula.
