Major Considerations for Assessment at Programme-level
Recommended components in a programme assessment scheme are described in the policy paper Assessment of Student Learning in Taught Programmes. They include

(i) a statement of programme learning outcomes that cover appropriate areas of knowledge, skills and values;

(ii) a course by learning outcome matrix showing how each course in the programme contributes to achieving the programme learning outcomes;

(iii) a set of course outlines with course assessment schemes;

(iv) an overall programme assessment scheme summarizing the proportion of each type of assessment strategy.

An example can be viewed here.
