CIMA Global Business Challenge has always been one of the most prevalent business consulting case competitions among local university students since its inception. In 2012, a CUHK team comprising both GBS and IBBA students proudly won the First runner-up and Best Presentation Materials Award.
Every year, a specific industry falls under spotlight and participating teams are required to provide solid and practical resolution on a string of various issues for a client company from the perspective of the in-house consulting agency. Deliberate prioritization of issues, thorough understanding of clients’ needs and market dynamics, complementary qualitative and quantitative analysis with both efficient and eloquent presentation are the underscored keys to outshine competing teams.
The winning CUHK team was awarded with the trophy, certificates, cash prize of HKD2,000 and vouchers from partnering sponsors of the competition.
