Overview: VeriGuide

This is a new front-end for VeriGuide, a system to check similarities on documents from different sources to uphold academic honesty. Using this site, students could turn in their course assignments, and course lecturers could check the submission status.

This site supports Mozilla Firefox and MS Internet Explorer (7.0 or above) ONLY currently.

Introducing VeriGuide 2020 for CUHK

You are invited to try the new VeriGuide 2020, the next major upgrade of the VeriGuide for CUHK web application, which will replace the current system by Jan-2021. The highlights of the VeriGuide 2020 benefits are:

  • Allow users to access VeriGuide using CUHK Login.
  • Improve login time and submission upload time especially during the end of term period.
  • Streamlined user interface to improve the user experience.

Please note the current VeriGuide Academic for CUHK has reached end of life and will be upgraded to VeriGuide 2020 by Jan-2021. As a result, we recommend users to try out VeriGuide 2020 and email us info@veriguide.org for any feedback, suggestions or concerns on using the new system.

Introducing VeriGuide Express for CUHK

A new web application that helps users to quickly upload submissions to VeriGuide. VeriGuide Express provides another option for the users to upload files to VeriGuide. VeriGuide Express helps to divert upload traffic from the original VeriGuide and is especially useful during the end of term or examination period when there are a large number of users try to upload submissions to VeriGuide.

What is CWEM computing ID?

Staff computing ID: "b" + 6-digit random number

Students admitted in 2010-2011 and thereafter:
The computing ID is "s" + 10-digit student id

Students admitted in 2009-2010 and before:
The computing ID remains unchanged as given before. That is "s" + first 7 digit or 6 digit of old student ID format.

If you cannot login, please first make sure your CUHK computing account is valid by testing in other CUHK services, and also you are using the CWEM computing ID when logging in the VeriGuide.
