Continue the previous dance experience, The Office of the Arts Administrator is presenting a new Dance workshop in this semester. 

It is our honors to invite Miss Catherine Yau to teach modern dance in this workshop. Catherine is a Hong Kong Dancer with rich experience. During the class, she will teach modern dance langurage and lead students feel their own body movement. 

About Artist

Catherine Yau is a freelance dance practitioner. She first graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Computer Science; after which, she studied Dance in the New York University with the support of the Asian Cultural Council (HK) Lee Hysan Foundation Fellowship and graduated with her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. She further studied Cultural Studies in The University of Hong Kong and obtained her Master of Arts (MA) degree. She is an experienced dance educator, teaching contemporary and creative dance in a variety of levels. She started the first credit-bearing dance course in the University level at The Education University of Hong Kong, and is currently their Guest Lecturer. She is also actively involved in dance writing, her articles were published in local magazines and newspapers.
