Established in 1981, with a seating capacity of 1,438 and experienced housing and backstage staff, the Sir Run Run Shaw Hall is the biggest and professionally-equipped theatre in the University suitable for holding ceremonies, assemblies, meetings, lectures and examinations, and for staging concerts, drama and dance performances, film shows and exhibitions. Temporary studio setting is possible on request. Booking for cultural activities is welcomed.
