28 Mar, 2020: Arrangement of final assessment
Due to the current situation, an online final examination will be arranged. The exact time and date of the examination ll be arranged by the university. The detailed arrangement of the exam will be announced later.
Please kindly be reminded that the final examination will take 85% of the assessment. It would be better for you to get prepared as soon as possible and here are some suggestions:
1) Have a revision on direct computational questions by doing extra exercises in WeBWorK.
2) Try to work on proof-type questions in coursework and supplementary exercises. They can be found in the course webpage.
3) You may also download past papers of this course HERE.
4) If you have any difficulty, please feel free to seek help from your lecturer.

11 Mar, 2020: Cancellation of Quiz on 26 Mar
Due to the uncertain situation of spread of coronavirus, it may not be safe to have a face-to-face quiz on 26 Mar (Thursday). After serious consideration of all lecturers of the course, we decided to cancel the quiz.
The updated assessment scheme would become the following:
Coursework and WeBWorK 15%
Final Examination 85%
*The arrangement of final examination will follow the guideline from the university.
