COVID-19 leads to disruptions in urological services

“A Global Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on Urological Services” is the first survey to examine the global impact of COVID-19 on urological care that included over 1,000 urological professionals from six continents. According to the survey, significant delay in worldwide urological outpatient care and surgery was observed and the degree of urological service cut-down increased with the percentiles of COVID-19 cases in outbreak countries. In terms of emergency response to this pandemic, nearly 50% of healthcare professionals reported insufficient training in dealing with infectious disease and respiratory care.
