Let’s give our congratulations to PhD student Yang Lidong for receiving “The Best Paper Award” in the IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering 2020!

Lidong and Prof. Zhang Li designed a new magnetic manipulation system with mobile coils and eye-in-hand feedback for actuation and tracking of microrobots in large workspace (such as the human body). He also developed automation technologies to allow the microrobots to navigate in complex environments automatically. Not only does his research solve the problem of tracking the microrobots in large workspace but also facilitate the development of the automated large-area microrobot navigation and related medical applications!
