13 Outstanding Students Received Helix Scholarship

The first Presentation Ceremony of Helix Scholarship was held on 19 January 2016 at the Conference Room of the University Administration Building of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). The Ceremony was officiated by Mr Darren Ching, Account Manager of Helix System Limited, and Ms Janet Chow, Director of Institutional Advancement of CUHK.
Established by Helix System Limited in 2015, the Scholarship aims to award students with outstanding academic achievement and active participation in extra-curricular activities and voluntary services.
In his speech, Mr Ching said Helix is delighted to set up scholarships at CUHK, with the company’s long-term connection with tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. “This scholarship is beyond financial aid, it is indeed a recognition of their outstanding performance. The awardees should take pride in receiving the scholarship,” he said.
Awardee Miss Lee Mei-shan, Sandy represented the scholarship recipients to express their gratitude to Helix for their company’s generosity in setting up this meaningful award for CUHK students. A handmade thank-you card was presented to Mr Ching at the Ceremony.
