Project

A project in pure or applied mathematics, either in research or in reviewing the literature of an advanced topic. Each section may be taken by an individual student or a team of two students. Prerequisite: permission of the instructor and satisfaction of at least one of the following conditions: 1) with Major GPA in the preceding academic term of at least 3.3; 2) with cumulative Major GPA of at least 3.3; and 3) any special case explicitly endorsed by the Board of the Department.
