- Midterm: 9:45-11:15 am, June 10; Final term: 10:00-12:00am, June 28
- (20/5) HW1 is posted. It will be due at 3pm on 30/5.
- (30/5) HW2 is posted. It will be due at 3pm on 6/6.
- (3/6) Midterm Exam will be held in Mong Man Wai Building -(MMW LT1) at 9:45-11:15am on Monday, June 10. The exam will cover topics in lecture notes of week 1-3,part of week 4(until directional derivative), HW1-2 Remember to bring your SID to the exam.
- (10/6) Some students want more exercise, therefore, I upload some extra exercises, no need to hand in, it will not count in your final grade
- Midterm solution is posted.
- (20/6) HW5 is posted. It will be due at 3pm on 27/6.
- (20/6) Final Exam will be held in Lee Shau Kee Building (LSK LT7) at 10:00-12:00am on Friday, June 28. The exam will cover topics in lecture notes of week 1-7, HW1-5 Remember to bring your SID to the exam.

Course Description
Functions of several variables, partial differentiation, differential and its geometric meaning, chain rule, maxima and minima, Lagrange multiplier, mean value theorem, Taylor series, and implicit function theorem.
Mainly follow the Textbook by Prof Thomas KK Au for general n-dimension, and supplemented by the Thomas' Calculus on examples, special cases for 2 and 3 dimensions, and exercises.
