Students can use @Link, an email service under CUHK Microsoft 365, to stay connect with the University. With opt-in procedures done, you can even use it after your graduation.

Graduates can opt in to use @Link email (50GB), OneDrive for Business, the related collaboration tools and the files stored inside after graduation. ITSC supports the opt-in process while Alumni Affairs Office supports the service for alumni.

4. (For Student Organizations) Switchover Exercise from CUHK Webmail to @Link in Year 2017
ITSC had coordinated and communicated with the student organization account users in 2017 to prepare for the switchover from the old email email, CUHK Webmail, to @Link. The switchover exercise included
An @Link mailbox was offered to the student organization with other cloud services e.g. OneDrive, and collaborative tools available for students.
If student organization had defined email address as alias@cuhk.edu.hk which was published in different publications, to avoid email loss, any new emails reaching that email address would be forwarded to @Link. However, in a long term, those student organization should publish their new email address alias@link.cuhk.edu.hk instead.
If student organization had never defined its email address i.e. email address = computing-id@cuhk.edu.hk, it became invalid on 3 Jan 2018.
