OnePass Personalized Security Questions Terminate on 30 Dec 2019

OnePass Personalized Security Questions (OPQ) was launched in 2015 to provide a self-service password reset tool to staff and students. Due to the service instability, OPQ was suspended from Dec 2018 while no related enquiries were received in the course.

In view of the low usage and the new industrial practice in using multi-factor authentication for password recovery, ITSC will terminate the OPQ and will launch a new self-service password reset tool in 2020. The data collected via OPQ will be irreversibly deleted after the service termination.

ITSC starts notifying the staff and students who have registered for OPQ in Nov. If password recovery is needed, users can always contact ITSC via the methods here.
