Congratulations to Lu Lu, PhD student supervised by Prof. Soung-chang Liew, and Bolei Zhou, MPhil Student supervised by Prof. Xiaoou Tang, for being selected as the winners of the Faculty's Outstanding Thesis Award 2012! In addition to this, Tan Lu, MPhil Student supervised by Prof. Minghua Chen, has also acheive the Honorary Mention from the Selection Panel!

We are pleased to announce that the PhD thesis "Asynchronous Physical-layer Network Coding" by Lu Lu, supervised by Prof. Liew and MPhil thesis titled "Modeling Crowd Behaviors in Video" by Bolei Zhou, supervised by Prof. Tang, has been selected the winners of the Faculty's Outstanding Thesis Award 2012.

In addition to this, the thesis titled "Simple and Effective Dynamic Provisioning for Power proportional Data Centers" by Tan Lu, MPhil student supervised by Prof. Minghua Chen, has also achieved Honorary Mention from the Selection Panel.

The awards will be presented to the winners in the Faculty Annual Award Presentation Ceremony to be scheduled on March 23, 2013. Congratulations to the winners and their supervisors for the great work!
