Biography
Prof. Jin Xie is a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Accountancy in The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. His research interests include financial accounting and capital markets, security regulation, law and economics, macroeconomics and monetary policy, international trade, political economy, corporate finance and chinese economy. His recent research “Punish One, Teach A Hundred: The Sobering Effect of Punishment on the Unpunished” won the Best Paper Award in the China Financial Research Conference (CFRC) 2018. His works have been presented at major international conferences such as the American Finance Association, SFS Cavalcade North America, China International Conference in Finance, and the London Business School Accounting Symposium.
