新冠病毒及糖尿病
香港首宗新冠病毒死亡個案，患者生前患有糖尿病，引起外界對兩種病關聯性的討論。糖尿病研究專家、中大內科及藥物治療學系陳重娥教授接受訪問，指出糖尿病患者確實有較高風險感染新冠病毒。她解釋，糖尿病患者的器官長期處於高糖環境下，機能較沒糖尿病的同齡人衰老多達10年，免疫力亦較低。她建議患者近期要特別留意控制血糖，包括要多吃水果及蔬菜。
