Morningsiders Learn How to Write a Strong Résumé at Online Workshop

On Saturday 6 February, 17 Morningsiders joined the college’s online résumé workshop. Ms. Natalie Evie, who runs her own consulting company and has more than a decade of corporate training experience, offered the two-hour workshop via Zoom.

The workshop covered ten top rules for writing an effective résumé. The session began with a dissection of a sample job description and continued with useful tips on how to highlight achievements and how to format the résumé. Throughout the workshop, students asked insightful questions through which they learned about how employers view the résumé and what makes a résumé stand out.
