Biography

Prof. Mingsheng Liao received his Ph. D degree of Photogrammetry and remote sensing in 2000. He is working at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Suerveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing （LIESMARS）where he became a Professor in 1997. Now he focuses on InSAR technology and its application in monitoring deformation and deriving elevation data from space-borne SAR images. He is the PI of several important projects of MOST and NSFC of China. He published more than 60 peer-reviewed journal articles and 3 book about Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry and co-organized several international symposium/workshops.
