The First College (LWS College) to Receive Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme Gold Award

The Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme is set up by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region annually since 2013. Jointly organized by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer and the Equal Opportunities Commission, the Scheme aims to show appreciation to local enterprises and organizations which have made their websites and mobile apps accessible to everyone, particularly persons with disabilities.

Lee Woo Sing College has received the Gold Award in the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2016, making it the first College of the CUHK community in receiving this award. The presentation ceremony was held on 19th April at the Cyberport and the Chairman, Committee of Overseers of Lee Woo Sing College, Dr. Anita Leung Fung-yee represented the College to receive the award.
