Musical Storytime with NHSO and NHFPL

Join violinist Anna Leunis from the New Haven Symphony Orchestra and children’s librarian Ms. Jennifer from the New Haven Free Public Library for a special musical storytime. Lon Po Po, a Chinese version of Little Red Riding Hood, will be read aloud and accompanied by live music from Anna. The event is open to the public.

Animation for Beginners

Learn basic animation principles with Austin Han, a freelance artist and animator. See the process through from beginning to end as we complete a short animated gif about the year of the ox. This program is meant to be accessible for all ages and aims to be a gentle entry point into the process.

About the Artist
Austin Han is a freelance artist and animator who works independently online running various webcomics and fulfilling commissions. A born storyteller and an accomplished stand-up comedian, Austin has always been eager to share his creativity with others.
