Walking is a good and easy to do physical exercise and can help to reduce carbon emission. To facilitate more users to walk in the campus, Campus Planning and Sustainability Office, Estates Management Office, Information Technology Service Centre and together with Physical Education Unit, launched and promoted ‘Walk for Green’ to staff and students.  Card readers for different walking routes were established to record the trips (points) completed by CUHK staff and students. A card reader is now installed at the college lobby in due course.
