This course aims to prepare students to make constructive use of field practicum. It adopts a laboratory training format to provide students with opportunities to experience and become familiar with events encountered in the field. The primary emphases of the course are helping students understand the meaning and nature of field instruction; and acquire essential communication and intervention skills. Students will also be helped to develop more sensitivity and acceptance towards human nature and to reflect upon their attitudes in the helping process.
