The Fine Arts Department offers a comprehensive and balanced four-year undergraduate curriculum with dual emphases on studio art and art history. It also offers three postgraduate programmes: Full-time M.F.A. Programme and Part-time M.A. in Fine Art Programme are both platforms for advanced development of individual studio art practices, while M.Phil. / Ph.D. in History of Chinese Art aims to provide academic training for students to conduct advanced art historical research. Through choosing and engaging in a selection of courses that match their temperaments and talents, students are expected to conduct research and produce creative works independently and develop their unique artistic characters.
