Born and brought up in China, I got my M.A. in Archaeology from the Xiamen University. For my M.A. thesis I conducted research on C and N stable isotope analysis of animal bones excavated from Jiangzhuang site of Liangzhu culture.
The fruit of this research inspired me to continue my research career, sparked my interest in the relationship between humans and animals in the period of Shang and Zhou dynasties.Exploring such relationship may provide us a special perspective to study the interaction between humans and animals at material and spiritual level, to help us understanding the formation process of human social culture and discovering the human behavior mode behind culture and nature.
