CUHK joined the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) in October 2011 as the first member university in Hong Kong. WUN is a global alliance of 23 research-led universities across six continents. Central to WUN’s mission is the fostering of international collaborative research. In particular, the Network is committed to the development of interdisciplinary research collaborations addressing recognizable global challenges. WUN creates new, multilateral opportunities for international collaboration in research and graduate education. It is a flexible, dynamic organisation that uses the combined resources and intellectual power of its membership to achieve collective international objectives and to stretch international ambitions.
