At Faculty and University levels we have agreements with institutions from all over the world, including relationships with key institutions in USA, Canada, South America, Europe, South Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In some instances study completed on an exchange programme may be counted towards the completion of a student’s degree.
As part of the Faculty’s and University’s effort to enhance our students’ academic and social experience, we offer eligible students the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner institutions. These provide excellent opportunities for learning a new language, making new friends and broadening horizons. CUHK students who meet certain requirements may apply for financial support under the CUHK Student Exchange Financial Aid and Scholarship Scheme (FASS).
In addition, all exchange students visiting CUHK may register for law courses taught within CUHK LAW at the level at which they are registered at their home institution and subject to the terms set out here.
CUHK LAW EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES
Currently CUHK LAW has exchange agreements with:
For Undergraduate Students
For both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students
For Postgraduate Students
For PhD Students
CUHK LAW positively encourages its student to give serious consideration to studying abroad for part of their studies. We are convinced that including a period of overseas study improves students’ academic understanding of the discipline of law, helps develop their personal skills, boosts their confidence and makes them more attractive to future employers. In some instances the units you complete whilst overseas may be credited towards the completion of your degree.
UNIVERSITY-WIDE EXCHANGE PROGRAMMES
In addition to the above student exchange opportunities, the Office of Academic Links also administers University-wide student exchange programmes. The University has exchange agreements with over 280 partner institutions, giving you the opportunity to experience studying around the world. More information is available from the Office of Academic Links website.
