Losing Control: Unauthorized Local Tax Policies in China, co-supervised by Professors Noam NOKED and James ZENG.
RESEARCH INTERESTS AND AIMS
I am interested in tax law, new institutional economics, and public choice theory. With my thesis, I try to explore the reason why a large number of Chinese local governments flout the law to set their own tax policies without permission from the central government.
