Please observe the schedule of course selection and add/drop announced by the Registration and Examinations Section, and complete course registration under CUSIS on specified dates.
Students are required to complete the University Core Requirements, which comprise the following:
- University and College General Education courses
- Chinese and English language courses
- Physical Education courses
- IT course
To encourage students to gain exposure to knowledge outside their major discipline, Faculty Package is provided to allow them to take courses normally worth up to 9 credit units outside their major but within the Faculty.
The University places very high importance on honesty in academic work submitted by students, and adopts a policy of zero tolerance on academic dishonesty. While “academic dishonesty” is the overall name, there are several sub-categories as follows:
- Plagiarism
- Undeclared multiple submission
- Cheating in tests and examinations
- All other acts of academic dishonesty
Students should make themselves familiar with the content of Honesty in Academic Work: A Guide for Students and Teachers and watch short videos prepared by the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research to have a thorough understanding on the matter.
