Research Interests

Application of modern laser spectroscopy in the study of intermolecular interactions, dynamics and potential surfaces and their roles in the mechanisms of chemical reactions and phase transition. A variety of molecular systems including molecular ions, radicals, van der Waals molecules, molecular clusters, and cryogenic crystals are being pursued to address these issues.
1. High resolution and high sensitivity laser Spectroscopy.
2. Intermolecular interactions and dynamics.
3. Spectroscopy of transient species such as radicals, molecular ions, and van der Waals complexes.
4. Properties of quantum crystals.
5. Molecules under extreme conditions ( e.g. high electric fields, high pressure, and low temperature).
