个人简介

王教授在大学时期主修地理及资源管理，并于香港中文大学攻读研究型硕士课程，期间她开展了美沙酮维持治疗使用的空间流行病学研究。她曾在一家环境影响评估公司和一家转售谷歌地理产品的IT公司担任地理信息系统助理顾问，她也因此进一步磨炼了其地理信息系统技能。她已在香港中文大学何鸿燊新发传染病中心任职研究助理约4年，并建立了她在传染病和公共卫生方面的研究技能和专业知识。同时，她也曾是中大公共卫生学院的非全日制博士生，她的博士研究旨在通过流行病模型，估计艾滋病病毒载量并仿真模拟不同检测-治疗措施对香港艾滋病疫情增长的影响。之后，她参加了中美联合博士后项目，并于广州岭南-北卡性病研究培训中心及美国北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校工作。王教授的博士后研究主要关注华南地区的艾滋病与护理的联系及其护理的保留，以及使用传染病模型和时空分析研究梅毒流行病学。

研究方向

  • 传染病的流行病学，其中包括艾滋病毒、乙型肝炎、丙型肝炎、梅毒、流感、结核病、登革热和COVID-19的流行病学研究

  • 应用空间、时间、社会网络、传染病模型和分子技术来研究流行病学

  • 抗逆转录病毒治疗后艾滋病毒患者的免疫恢复
