Call for Applications: ACU Fellowships 2020 (Deadline: 14 October 2020)

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Fellowships are now open for application.

These fellowships support partnerships between academic and professional staff at ACU member universities, including CUHK. The fellowships this year will solely fund virtual collaboration. Each fellowship provides funding of up to GBP5,000.

The following is a list of fellowships that are open for application by academic and/or professional staff at CUHK. Colleagues may wish to invite interested external members to jointly apply for the schemes.

1. Accountancy Fellowship (Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales)
  • Accountancy
2. Agriculture, Forestry & Food Science Fellowship (George Weston Limited)
  • Agriculture

  • Food science
3. Canada Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

  • For a member outside Canada, including CUHK, to partner with a Canadian institution.
  • For a Canadian member to partner with an institution outside Canada, including CUHK.
  • Education
  • Health and related social sciences
  • Information technology and management
  • STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects
  • Sustainable development
  • University development and management
4. Hong Kong Jockey Club Fellowships – two fellowships are available:

  • For a member from Hong Kong institutions, including CUHK, to work with a partner overseas.
  • For a member from an institution outside Hong Kong to work with a partner institution in Hong Kong, including CUHK.
5. Information Technology and Computer Science Fellowship (Jacky McAleer Memorial)
  • Information technology
  • Computer science

 

In some circumstances, the above fellowships can be used for collaboration between universities and the private sector. For more details, please contact acufellowships@acu.ac.uk.

The application closing date is 14 October, 2020 at 23:59 UTC. Interested applicants should submit their applications with the required information via the online application system.
