第 309 期 2007 年 12 月 19 日 No. 309 19 December 2007 新任校董 New Council Members 鄭海泉博士（ 左 ）及李明逵先生（ 右 ） 獲監督依據《香港中文大學條例》規 程11第1 ( k ) 段及第4段指定，出任大學 校董，任期三年，由2007年11月27日 起生效。 鄭海泉博士於1948年在香港出生， 2005年5月起出任香港上海滙豐銀行 有限公司主席，2007年4月兼任滙豐 銀行（中國）有限公司董事長。 李明逵先生為榮休香港特別行政區警務處處長，現為香港中文大學專業進修諮詢 委員會委員、香港公開大學李嘉誠專業進修學院榮譽顧問、新亞書院校董、香港 特區青年事務委員會委員及中華人民共和國公安部警察教育培訓顧問。 Dr. Vincent H.C. Cheng ( left ) and Mr. Dick M.K. Lee ( right ) have been nominated by the Chancellor, in accordance with Statues 11.1(k) and 11.4 of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Ordinance as Members of the Council each for a period of three years from 27 November 2007. Dr. Vincent H.C. Cheng, born in Hong Kong in 1948, has been Chairman of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited since May 2005. In April 2007 he also took up the role of Chairman of HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited. Mr. Dick M.K. To ensure the accuracy of staff data records, staffmemberswith changes of personal data such as name, marital status, birth of child, or acquisition of additional qualifications are requested to submit the form ‘Change of Personal Data’ to the Personnel Office with the originals or certified true copies of relevant supporting documents attached. Staff members with any change in address, telephone number or emergency contact, should also inform the Personnel Office of the same in writing. Full-time staff members may now access the ‘Staff Self-Service Enquiry System’ via the web ( https://perntc.per.cuhk.edu.hk/ssp/logon.asp ) to check their personal data records, and download the form ‘Change of Personal Data’ for updating purpose (the form can also be obtained by calling 2609 7179). 工作簽證延期手續 Employment Visa Extension 非擁有香港居留權之僱員，請留意在港工作簽證之期限，並須於逗留期限屆滿前 四星期內，向入境處辦理延期手續。僱員申請時須提供大學在職證明，有關證明 可聯絡人事處（電話：2609 7292/7232）索取。 僱員可於互聯網（ www.esd.gov.hk ） 向入境處分區辦事處預約辦理手續，以節省輪 候時間，惟不適用於須在入境處總部遞交申請之人士。工作簽證獲延期後，請將 副本傳真至人事處（傳真：2603 5223）存檔。 Staff members who do not hold the right of abode in Hong Kong are reminded to check the validity of their employment visas. They should arrange to renew their employment visas within four weeks prior to the expiry date. An application for extension of employment visa requires a sponsorship letter from the University to certify their employment status. Staff may approach the Personnel Office (Tel: 2609 7292/7232) for the sponsorship letter. Staff members can make an appointment for visa extension via the Internet www.esd.gov.hk to save queuing time at Immigration Branch Offices. This service is not available to those required to file their applications at the Immigration Department’s headquarters. Upon successful application for visa extension, staff members should provide a copy of the latest visa endorsement to the Personnel Office (Fax. 2603 5223).
