Commenced in 1985, the International Workshop on Therapeutic Endoscopy is one of the world’s longest running live endoscopy workshops. It is organized by the Hong Kong Society of Digestive Endoscopy and run by the Institute of Digestive Disease every December in Hong Kong. Some of its most notable founding faculty members are Professors Peter Cotton, Sydney Chung and Joseph Leung, all of whom pioneers and visionaries in endoscopy. This workshop aims to demonstrate the use of the most advanced technology in gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary diseases. This workshop, supported by esteemed international faculty, equip participants from young fellows to experienced advanced endoscopists with practical tips and techniques in an interactive setting.
