The Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Centre
on the roof of the building housing the Department, has an array
of equipment used to monitor air quality, together with a recording
raingauge, and wind speed and direction instrumentation. Air
quality and meteorological data are linked to a central data
logger and computer in the Atmospheric Environment Monitoring
Centre.
