The GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory is
designed for teaching and research in GIS, computer cartography,
remote sensing image analysis and statistical analysis. It is
a PC based laboratory running ArcGIS, TransCAD, PCI Geomatica, SPSS, MS Office, etc. Digitizers and laser
printers provide basic I/O peripherals.
All computers are served by the departmental server which also
provides internet service via the university network.
