World Religious Day 世界宗教日

This was a multi-faith event held on 17 September 2014 and organised by our department. Representatives of the Buddhist, Christian, Taoist, Muslim, Baha’i and Hindu communities participated in order to promote the spirit of understanding and harmony between religions.

Ghost Cultural Festival 鬼文化节

Ghost Cultural Festival was co-organised by the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies (CRS), The Office of the Arts Administrator from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Centre for Humanities Research from Lingnan University.

The festival held on 9-11 November 2012. It focused on Ghost as a cultural and societal phenomenon. It aimed at providing knowledge about Ghost culture in different aspects. Activities included academic conference, demonstration of Taoist rituals and opera and singing performances.
