International Workshop on Advanced Computational Intelligence 2008
The International Workshop on Advanced Computational Intelligence (IWACI2008) aims to explore advanced techniques and approaches in the field of computational intelligence for innovative applications. The workshop will provide an opportunity for researchers to present and disseminate their latest on-going research work and a chance to share their research work with other internationally renowned researchers. A special issue of extended invited papers will be published by the International Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybernetics.

Workshop Topics
The workshop includes all topics listed under the WCCI2008's site. However, the workshop will favor papers representing advanced theories and innovative applications. Papers will be selected based on originality, significance, technical quality, and clarity.
Paper Submission Information
Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper not exceeding 20 pages following the IJICC format. All submitted papers will be refereed by experts in the respective fields according to the criteria of originality, significance, quality, and clarity. Authors should submit their papers through the submission website by April 30, 2008.

- From Macau Ferry Terminal to New Century Hotel (close to University of Macau): Participants can take free shuttle bus of New Century Hotel (Greek Myth) “新世纪酒店/希腊神话” in front of the building of Hongkong Macau Ferry to the end of journey. The bus departs every 5-10 minutes. One student helper can be arranged there to help to lead to the bus.

Visa Requirements
- Applying a China visa in Hong Kong
- The Chinese Government has changed the visa policy in April.
- The government will not issue multiple-entry visas now until after the Olympic Games.
- One can still obtain single- and double-entry visas in Hong Kong in a relative short period.
- To obtain a visa at the boarder crossing is not recommended due to unforeseeable changing status.
- At the China Travel Services (Hong Kong) Limited with many branches in Hong Kong, you can apply for your China visa. The following information was obtained from the Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) Branch on May 11, 2008.
- You must bring your identification cards, passport, and your confirmed return ticket(s) to the travel agent.
- If you submit your application before 11:00 am, Tuesday, you can get the visa back on
- Wednesday for HKD $1,870,
- Thursday for HKD $1,530, and
- Friday for HKD $1,180.
- If you submit it after 11:00 am, Tuesday, you can get a visa after
- 3 working days for HKD $1,870,
- 4 working days for HKD $1,530, and
- 5 working days for HKD $1,180.
