Web services, including SOAP-based services and RESTFul services are becoming major techniques for building loosely-coupled distributed systems. Quality-of-Service (QoS) is usually employed for describing the non-functional characteristics of Web services and employed as an important differentiating point of different services. With the prevalence of service computing and cloud computing, more and more Web services are provided on the Internet, QoS management of Internet services is becoming more and more important.
